Honestly I've been "wasting" my time reading this fab thread on Nicole. And I'm a bit disturbed by the notion that she might have a post-marriage contract with that midget Cruise. If she does have a contract with him, I must say he is an even bigger stinker than I could imagine him to be. OMG he's such a creep!!!

Of course she has a post-marriage contract w/ him. How else would her career be able to thrive while Mimi Rogers' ended up in the toilet? I remember the days when Mimi was actually on the rocket to superstardom then she divorced Cruise and crash and burn.

When a maid has to sign an 8 page confidentiality and nondisclosure agreement, it's pretty hard to imagine that Tom wouldn't have some kind of shut-the-fuck-up deal with Nicole. Nicole often refers in interviews to how she's not "supposed" to talk about their kids. It might not be an actual contract, but given how much the scifitologists love contracts, it's very likely that it is. I also heard the theory that every time Nicole says something to irate Tom and his minions she gets a call from the scifi lawyers, which basically by now has made her go into a complete "no comment" mode as far as Tom is concerned.

How creepy is that really?? I'm thinking Amnesty International.... I know she/they signed the contract on their own, but is it completely "free will"? Honestly if you deny another person her personal freedom, that must be totally illegal. But he does seem to hold his women in the back ground. Nicole has become so much more succesful since she left that midget.

>>Honestly if you deny another person her personal freedom, that must be totally illegal.>> It's not illegal. She could've turn the job down or accept it and sign the papers. No one hold a gun to her head. ..But I get your point. Hollywood and it's actors are a scary thing. But just imagine if a contract isn't covering practically everything; like the whole Jude Law affair when their nanny went public. They couldn't sue the nanny even if they wanted to. If TC didn't have these sort of contracts his career would be OVER.

Imagine being romantically involved with Nicole and just when things get really heated up she pulls out a 20 page confidentiality and nondisclosure agreement for you to sign - Not so sexy!!! That for me would be such a turn off. And knowing me I'd just leave without signing the papers and tell her to call me once she feels mortal enough to trust me. For fucks sake most Hollywood stars are fucking highschool dropout and can hardly spell their own name and I'm a Postgrad student.

I've just seen all the videos with Nicole that's linked in here. Is it my imagination or does Nicole seem more relaxed and open for conversation in Ellen's company than in the company of Jay Leno or Letterman?

I keep going back and forth with the "are they/aren't they". One minute I think "they sure look gay", the next "they are just friends". That said, there are two things that convince me Nicole is gay/bi. The pronouns thing is very convincing. The most convincing thing to me is her marriage to the tiny, gay man for so long. I just can't see a straight woman being with a gay man for 10 years (and didn't she also "date" him for two years prior to that?). Ambition aside, and I think she is a VERY ambitious woman, it just seems unreasonable unless she were also gay. As for Nicomi, there's one thing I want to add to this discussion. As a simple, unfamous and unrich person (like most here?), I can't imagine what it's like to be at that level of fame in what concerns personal relationships. I think it must be close to impossible to form REAL friendships outside the rich-famous circle. I bet it's hell to always wonder if the new friend/love interest will talk about the whole thing behind your back or downright sell you to the mags. It's a sad price to pay for all that fame and riches. So, it wouldn't surprise me if Nicomi are just really good friends and cherish that friendship because it's so rare. OTOH, it wouldn't surprise me if they were/are lovers, either. Being straight, my gaydar is bad unless something is very obvious.

I also think she knows Ellen socially. Someone posted about a pre-election party they both attended, so they might run in the same liberal kinda circles. And I think she's extra spazzed out on Leno because he's always showing embarrassing old videos and just generally try to trip people up.

>>didn't see that show.. tell us more >> She was on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. And back in the days, like early 90's I think, Naomi shot a commercial where her character entered a radio competetion. She won and the prize was a date with Tom Cruise(!). But she turned it down cause her mom was cooking roasted lamb and it was too good to give up on, even for someone like Tom Cruise. Or something like that. My memory isn't the best. Either way, one funny ad.

She may not be permitted to speak openly about the Tomcat, but boy does she drop hints here and there in several interviews. In prints she does use the words him/he/man in finding the man of her dreams. In tv interviews however she does use the pronouns thing very convincingly.

"They've said I'm gay, they've said everyone's gay," she said about the persistent homosexuality rumors (and multimillion-dollar libel lawsuits filed by her ex-husband). "I personally don't believe in doing huge lawsuits about that stuff. Tom does. That's what he wants to do, that's what he's going to do. You do not tell Tom what to do. That's it. Simple. He is a force to be reckoned with."

r861 Where I come from that's not being neighbours, that's living across town. >>Nicole's mum, dad and sister also insist on checking out any future boyfriends. Last month, Kidman told Vanity Fair magazine: "It's a bit silly, since I'm 37-years-old, but my father says we are never going to go through what we went through before." [html removed]>"They've said I'm gay, they've said everyone's gay," she said about the persistent homosexuality rumors (and multimillion-dollar libel lawsuits filed by her ex-husband). Geez... Nicole's just playing the Hollywood game! She knows if people are talking about her it's good for business. She ain't gay. She's just another over ambitious and greedy actress who's exploiting the whole trendy gay/bi thing. Besides it's not that hard to play the whole pronoun thing convincingly and remember she did win an Oscar for her acting skills.

Seriously, I thought Nicole is women-prone. She would be naturally a lesbian if being labeled; otherwise, she might feels a love tenderly for other women. Pronouncing game has nothing to do with her fame since she's really a talented actress. It's like "someone or somebody is much better than he or him just because I don't count male in my party. Who cares?"
